Our team collaborated with dedicated community members that had formed Solar Energy Advocates Initiative to provide their community an accessible heath clinic but struggled to raised the funds to finish the building for 7 years. Our donations and management of the project finished the building, and opened for patients in 6 months.

The building had no finished walls, ceiling, flooring. The community volunteered their labor and we donated the materials and with everyone working hard the dream was starting to take shape.

The toilets needed to be finished and made functional as part of the health facility which would serve a rural area with little access to any other health center and will serve between 2500-4000 people, mainly pregnant women and for vaccinating children.

The exterior of the building was painted and solar panels were installed to run interior and exterior lights, solar refrigeration, and basic medical equipment.

Furniture was provided for the reception area, along with curtains sewn by YAWE foundation, new tile, walls, ceiling, lights, exam table and medicine cabinet.

This clinic opened September 2025 and has already had a huge impact on the community and is serving many pregnant women and providing basic health care like vaccinations, blood pressure readings, and more.

The toilets renovation was also a success and more improvements will take place as the communities growing needs are addressed and more staff is provided by the Ministry of Health.

At Give Uganda, we envision a world where every person has access to technology that can connect people from around the world. A screen, 13 lap top computers and internet, and printer were provided to Kasenda school for students to learn from, telecommunicate with others, and explore.

Kasenda primary school serves around 1000 students and is one of the first in the area to have solar, computers, and a screen to learn on. The solar is also used for security for boarding students and provides light for teacher and students to build lesson plans and study, improving the schools national ranking significantly and teacher retention.

Our team is made up of dedicated professionals and volunteers who are passionate about making a difference in rural underserved communities. We work tirelessly to ensure that our programs and services are meeting the needs of those we serve and provided educational tools and books to help shape the next generation.

We have now provided 50 bunk beds to Kasenda school which provides every boarder with a place to sleep off the floor. We utilized YAWE foundations vocational training program to build all the bunk beds in Fort Portal. YAWE trains people in welding and other skills and this was a big job for the learners and provided experience for trainees and money for YAWE foundation through our purchase of 50 beds.

Kitaka community is a subsistence farming community that lives at the top of Rwenzori Mountains. These goats provide a sustainable income from breeding and selling the babies. We delivered 10 goats in 2024 which have all given birth and just delivered 20 more.

Kiiza is a young mother and member of this community with a dream to learn to sew and start her own business. Our donations for 9 months of private sewing classes, materials, began in 2024 but finished in 2025. She has now returned to her community where she sewed and repaired clothes for vulnerable people for 6 months and now has started her own small shop.

The bee hives we provided were producing so well and providing school fees for some of the village kids we purchased and delivered ten more. Not only are the bees good for the environment they are providing honey and money for the community.
